We realized a savings of approximately $6,000 from not sending an editor on location for this job, including hotel, rental car, rental gear, travel pay, per diem, and other costs. After signing up for a <\/span>free Starter account<\/span><\/a> to test his team\u2019s workflows, PanCam quickly grew confident that MASV was up to the job.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt was a bit of a calculated dice roll\u201d because the company hadn\u2019t used MASV on a project before, Stiles explains. In most cases, edits needed to be turned around in a matter of hours (if not minutes).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n That meant <\/span>fast, reliable file transfer<\/span><\/a> was non-negotiable \u2013 and Stiles says that MASV came through in the clutch.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere were no half downloaded files that had stalled out,\u201d Stiles says, adding that multi-gig transfers often fail when using other file sharing tools and that MASV preserved the folder structure of all uploads. MASV handles file packages of unlimited size.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI checked with everybody who sent me footage, and at no point did anyone have any transfers fail.
