• When enabled, as soon the first bytes of your file start uploading, MASV immediately makes the package available for download to the receiver – no need to wait for the entire package to upload before the download begins.
• MASV Express allows simultaneous uploads and downloads while retaining the reliability benefits of MASV’s store-and-forward transfer model.

This significantly reduces the time for files to reach their destination and enables downstream workflows (like editing, review, or broadcast) to begin almost instantly. All while keeping the same network resiliency and relentless reliability users have come to expect from MASV.

Instead of a direct point-to-point connection between sender and receiver – like traditional FTP, Aspera, or Signiant file transfers – MASV uses the cloud to store and deliver your files to one or many destinations without re-uploading.

How it works

• Upload to MASV: When a sender uploads a file, it’s first transferred to MASV’s cloud storage infrastructure.
• Files are stored securely in the MASV cloud: MASV is powered by AWS, leveraging its global network of data centers for unmatched reliability, security, and scalability.
• Forward to receiver: Once the file package is finished uploading, the receiver is notified and can begin to download the file from MASV.
