About Nia
Nia is a passionate leader with over 20 years of experience building, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams. She is committed to developing leadership teams, defining processes and finding ways to creatively problem solve. Nia draws from her background in training, design thinking, project coordination and performance management to develop the foundation of MASV’s Culture and HR program.
Impressed by MASV’s early traction and mission to change the way media professionals work, Nia made the decision to join MASV in November 2021 as the company’s first Head of People, Culture and Operations. In this role, Nia is accountable for defining and improving the employee experience by establishing an exceptional remote work culture. Nia is also responsible for leading MASV’s compliance program.
Career Highlights
Nia’s career started at a corporate telecom, where she gained experience leading multiple teams at Bell Canada. Eventually Nia was bitten by the startup bug, which led to an exciting career at several hyper-growth tech companies. Since then, Nia has worked in various people and operations roles at startups including CanvasPop and GoFor.
Personal Interests
When not at MASV, Nia loves reading and listening to a variety of music types while enjoying a chai tea latte and cheering for the Bills during football season.
